"As above so below, as below so above" - Hermetic philosophy

Hundreds of birds falling dead from the sky in different parts of the world; off-season snow, super storms and flooding on unexpected locations – all these are happening now, and many are asking why. One common theory being proposed by many (including myself) to explain these events is that the fluctuations on Earth’s magnetic field / magnetosphere are to blame.

Earth's magnetic field is rapidly fading. Today it is about 10 percent weaker than it was when German mathematician Carl Friedrich Gauss started keeping tabs on it in 1845, scientists say.

If the trend continues, the field may collapse altogether and then reverse. Compasses would point south instead of north - an event known as a geomagnetic pole reversal.

Earth’s magnetic field protects us from solar storms and cosmic rays. A weakening magnetic field also means this protection is vulnerable. According to new observations from NASA's IMAGE spacecraft and the joint NASA/European Space Agency Cluster satellites, immense cracks sometimes develop in Earth's magnetosphere and remain open for hours. This allows the electrically charged solar wind to gush through and power stormy space weather.

Migratory birds depend heavily on Earth’s magnetic field for protection and direction, and abrupt changes on this field could prove fatal to them.

The Future Cosmic Sabbath

The Bible tells us that God created the heaven and the earth in a span of 6 "evenings" and "mornings". In my previous blog titled "The Yin Yang - part 2", I mentioned that the "Light" which God created on the first day was the result of electrons descending from the spiritual universe toward the physical universe.

The descent of these electrons did not happen continuously, but occurred in 6 separate batches instead. As a result, there were a total of 6 alternating occurences of "evenings" and "mornings" in the physical universe. (In the Bible, a day starts in the evening and ends in the morning).

Genesis 1:5 ... And the evening and the morning were the first day. 8 ... And the evening and the morning were the second day. 13 And the evening and the morning were the third day. 19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. 23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. 31 And God saw every thing that he had made , and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

After completing his creation, we are told that God rested on the seventh day:

In Chinese philosophy, the concept of Yin Yang is used to describe how polar or seemingly contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other in turn. Many natural dualities — e.g. female and male, dark and light, earthly and heavenly, cold and hot, wet and dry, empty and full, formless and structured, positive and negative, passive and active — are thought of as manifestations of Yin and Yang (respectively).

Yin Yang are complementary opposites within a greater whole, much like an atom is made up of electrons (negatively charged particles) and protons (positively charged particles). Everything has both yin and yang aspects, although yin or yang elements may manifest more strongly in different objects or at different times. Yin yang constantly interacts, never existing in absolute stasis.

In my previous blog, titled "Adam the hermaphrodite", I mentioned that the Holy Spirit represents the Feminine aspect of God, or the Yin; while the Son represents the Masculine aspect of God, or the Yang. Thus, the Yin is the author of all that is feminine, dark, earthly, cold, wet, empty, formless, negative and passive in God's creation. Not surprisingly then, when the Spirit of God was first mentioned in the Book of Genesis, the Earth, which was originally the exclusive domain of the Yin, was described as being formless, dark, void (or empty), and wet:

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the [watery] deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

God's creation was completed and perfected only when aspects of Yang (like Light for example) were combined with the Yin: 

Genesis 1:3 And God said , Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light,

The Seventh King: Constantine the Great of Byzantium

Revelation 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen , and one is , and the other is not yet come ...

When Apostle John received his apocalyptic visions toward the end of Emperor Titus' reign, the seventh king and his kingdom have not yet appeared. Remember that the seven heads of the Beast do not only mean seven different kings, they also mean seven different kingdoms. In my previous blog "The Seven Heads of the Beast" , I identified the six kings ruling six different kingdoms, namely:

1. Nimrod of Babel,
2. the Pharaoh of Egypt,
3. Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon,
4. Haman substituting for King Ahasuerus of Persia,
5. Antiochus IV Epiphanes of the Seleucid Empire,
6. and Emperor Titus of Rome

Mountains, when used as prophetic symbols, refer to kingdoms that try to compete with God's kingdom:

Jeremiah 51:24 And I will render to Babylon, and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil, that they have done in Sion, before your eyes, saith the Lord. 25 Behold I come against thee, thou destroying mountain, saith the Lord, which corruptest the whole earth: and I

Revelation 2:12 and to the angel of the church in Pergamum write: These things saith he that hath the sharp two-edged sword: 13 I know where thou dwellest, [even] where Satan's throne is; and thou holdest fast my name, and didst not deny my faith, even in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwelleth.

Revelation 13:1 And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore. Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, ... 2  And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority. 3 I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain, and his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast ;

Why did Christ refer to Pergamum, or modern day Bergama, Turkey as the place where Satan's throne is to be found, and where the Antichrist will be resurrected, and where the Antichrist will establish his capital after receiving it from Satan?
